Just heard the IMSA radio Porsche keys to the race. They are. Don’t crash. Drive quickly. And wear a helmet.

Pfaff Porsche assaulted by a loose wheel nut of the #3 Corvette (which they got a penalty for).
That's rotten luck |

Keys to the race:
Keep hold of your nuts. Don’t let your door fall off. |

13 minutes of yellow. That's 13% of the race.

I agree this race should be longer. It’ll be over too soon. |

I feel there isn't enough yellow.
Only one Corvette and only half the Porsche. It's spring time (ok summer there but they don't have winter so), we need more Easter basket colors (colours for you foreign folk) to celebrate Also, while we're celebrating Festivus. I want to whinge about the lack of RLM on the Peacock feed. And that's a GARBAGE penalty. He didn't do anything or bring a new door. That's actually something to whinge about IMSA rules about. |

I thought unfair. While, I’m sure, technically not allowed. Need some judgement. Still, probably didn’t hurt them.
Green (!), let the chaos begins. |

BMW drive-through was for De Philippi trying to fix the door. That's stupid |

Can we have a yellow, I’ve just finished my drink.
Keys to the race. Gin and Tonic and sarcasm. |

Nice shot of the tire barrier, looked like a fella could get some decent tires there.
Damn, he got that car out of there? They do need a better strap, looked like the bundle broke and a strap came flying up when he hit it. Carbahn Lambo gonna need emergency service, that was a good sideways thunk on the wall themselves |

Yes, let's discuss the ABS system in GT3 instead of the last 7 minutes of the race. Seems right
Well that's a paddlin' for WeatherTech car. No chance that move was gonna work dude |

Not exactly stellar driving and oddly the pros were all to blame for it. Couple GTDs bent the tire barriers, DPis attempting to occupy the same space of land as walls or other cars. Odd penalties and loose bits of cars and track. Seems like we had everything but rain.
Overall a bit meh, but that's racing at Long Beach. There's a reason we're there and it's not the quality of the racing. The only reason Kyle Washington is there instead of "another GT series" to quote the coverage is the same reason the series is there. Gladhanding, hosting and getting the sponsors out to the track sells the series budgets. Ok, no audio delay makes up for track. Tired of the pretending guys in race cars don't talk like that, don't like it DON'T EFFING WATCH and go find PBS Masterpiece |
