No he's not cross dressing. Just that Graham Bahr's daughter kindly collected his trophies at the centre dinner dance, because Andy was "occupied" elsewhere.

Yep. We are working our little nuts off trying to get that and mine ready for the 1st race. Mine will definetly be done, but not sure about the MK2. It will appear at some point during the season though.

By the way Rod, you mentioned trophies. How many did i get then?

You see Andy, if you had turned up you would have had a great time and collected some hardware!!! May be even won a set of brand new tyres (congratulations to Ray Adams instead). It was so good even Chezza cannot remember things.

You could have some quite mad looking cars in B to E, just depends what they run underneath.
Those panels were produced by Dove Eng originally for Nick Whiting and I fitted a set to my MK2 RS2000 many moons ago (BRSCC Modified Saloons) and therefore the wheels will comply as long as the inner arches have not been tampered with !!!!

If you want to be 'picky' it should only run as an RS 2000 because of the Droop Snoot shape from the side elevation !!!! which would I believe be class B. unless like this which is well modified for class A - how much fairy liquid to get it in ?????

Quick one for Graham - how do you view / justify BDA's in Fiestas and staying in capacity class versus sequential gear boxes which are standard in some cars but have to run in class A (and I am not talking BTCC cars etc ) ? who gets the performance advantage against money spent ?

Only if he lifts the bonnet for scrutineering.Anyway,it can be argued that it is a standard engine fitted by Fords.

The Engine ??
If so, not that much which is a stroke of luck, the car used to run a Zetec, then went Gp2 Zakspeed arched (like Alex Ribbens) and a Neil Roper race Zetec was purchased. The owner wanted the engine mounted a bit further back so the bulkhead was removed and moved back 14" ..

In the meantime he had fallen in love Nick Whitings car so the plot was hatched to fit a 24V Cosworth V6 in there, GAA's costing a few quid these days, a quick measure and it sort of fitted, a few months later the engine arrived and went in relitivly easy. The only additional chopping was in the top N/S corner for the exhaust downpipe. They do fit inside a standard escort bay but would be a heavy lump hanging over the front axle line.
How it will perform, only time will tell. It and the driver will be broken in gently

Its funny , Andy popped in yesterday to look at his car , and he said .....
"once its been painted again Chezza won't be able call her 'an old banger' "

and left with a little pat on the roof

But your safe from his wrath today as hes picking up another Mk2 from the painters that destined for the OFSC untill they guys got some experience then he may do the DTRC.

As for the driver of the Gulf Mk2 .... Hes called David White ... and most of those fellow DTRC'ers have met him, he was sprinting at Lydden and is at most of the races with Andy

Old banger or not Andy,I miss my Mk1,the fiesta does everything a bit better but wish I had put a Pinto into the Mk 1 and seen how it went then ,and the Kitchen didnt solve any problems with swmbo.
