AGD thanks for these great pictures and the detailed info, it's appreciated.
But you don't get the spirit of the thread. You're supposed to put up great pictures and ask the question "What connects them?" You then roll around laughing at our stupidity because we don't know that all the drivers had aunties who had best friends that once knew the same racing driver. Sent from my AC2003 using Tapatalk |

Meanwhile, back at Brands, the John Lelliott Post Historic Road Sports featuring
Roger Connel and Tim Sisson, Norman Mortimer and Simon Ford in S800s followed by Richard Newton in the Dart, Michael Darrieulat / G4, Michael Schryver, and 44 G4 not listed but someone will recognise it, Ray Hunter / Elite and Michael Wright / S800, and David Chaney leading Philip Shaw, Chris Horner and an unlisted Fulvia Zagato. From the Bradburn and Wedge Pre 70 Single seater Historic F3 and Castrol/MRS F5000 race, Simon Hadfield and Mike Vickery. Apologies for the unsharp images this time, must have left some jam on the lens. |

Bauble, thanks for telling us about the ERA. Without that I'd have thought it was a Silver Arrow.

This made the car very fuel innefficient, just over 1MPG, both Fangio & Farina had to stop twice for fuel at Silverstone and allowed the Ferrari to win and beat the Alfa's for the 1st time. |
