You said clues. They've told us what car they are driving and two of the drivers so far. They have also left plenty of clues around if you look in the right places

If they're not on that list, does that automatically mean they're not testing though?

Richard Longman springs to mind.

PMR and Laser Tools have obviously not confirmed when they're going to be testing but all things considered, they should be, new car for one in the latter's case.

Hopefully they change the windscreen strips, otherwise with #32 and #33 it'll be impossible to tell them apart from the front!

More obtuse thinking from me.

Polar bears plus new Ford's equals funding/support from the Polar Ford dealer franchise? Doesn't explain red yet but it wouldn't be the first time a new car came to fruition through a dealer network rather than solely the team or through the manufacturer. Polar Ford are pretty big and directly benefits promotion a new car winning which is similar to one's in their showrooms. If you dig into their history under the TrustFord umbrella then you'll find Dagenham Motors (a subsidery of the same group) sponsored West Ham Utd and some motorsport many years ago.

tl:dr, maybe motorbase is a msnfacturer/dealer backed build/entry?

Or a wine warehouse full of red and white.

Or maybe the heating is on the blink at Motorbase and it's a nice temperature for bears in the workshop?

Or maybe it's a warning to Matt Neal? Bend the back end of a Focus with your bumper and you're a bear snack!

Polar Ford aren't a franchise. Being part of the Trust Ford Group they are wholly owned by Ford Motor Company.

So what are you saying, DB himself will be the 3rd driver?

Before anyone makes a connection between Dagenham Motors and Ford from that photo, Ford didn't own the dealership group back then.

Using Ford's Dunton test track for shakedowns before each race meeting and the rolling road in the environmental lab along with Mountune does come in handy though.
