The WTCR is the purgatory.

A teaser here for the last Lynk & Co Cyan Racing seat. A driver shoot-out at Anderstorp.

Interesting, really looking forward to see which driver gets it. We could be in for a surprise

I'm hoping for Johan Kristoffersson but there are a couple of WTCR and WorldRX calendar clashes.

It turns out Ma is racing a Lynk & Co, and thus it makes sense he was at the promotional track/simular day, but not in WTCR. TCR China: https://www.touringcartimes.com/2020...-co-programme/

Four-driver shootout, blurred the whole time. I guess, all I can say is it's not Rob Huff! |

Congratulations to Urrutia. They didn't pick him for his face, name or wallet.
¡Uruguay nomás! |

We don't know who were the other 3 contenders for the factory drive!
Ah sorry! They are a fake factory team! |

Clearly Urrutia has a big support otherwise you don't race in Indylights. He has great success in formula championshpis but he did also a great season last year in tcr europe! Third overall and best Audi driver...and last year the RS 3 was really bad........

One of Urrutia's major sponsors is Ancap. One of Lynk's sponsors is Shell. That won't work.
I don't think that the logos of Antel, Supermatch, BSE or whatever will appear on the car. |

BIG news for Romeo Ferraris!
Jean Karl Vernay will drive the Giulietta Veloce TCR in WTCR 2020. The french is a former TCR International champion and in my opinion did absolutely a great job in the two years stint in WTCR with Audi. The Audi RS3 TCR in general is a good car but when overweighted it changes drastically in my opinion and goes bad. In contrast the VW Golf with which he won the TCR Int. was very well balanced but had problem on the straights. Now the Giulietta: good engine, good BOP but maybe not so good chassis. The WTCR calendar seems favourable to the Alfa this year, what do you think about Vernay-Alfa in WTCR 2020? |

I'm quite sceptical. I've always rated Vernay highly, he's struggled recently but winning TCR International means he's capable of good things. But Alfas, apart from some miraculous wins, were never particularly competitive so it remains to be seen whether he'll be able to do something more with the car.

Well, I'm happy for Azcona, but not overally satisfied. About Boldizs we knew since mid spring, he is not bad, but completely a beginner in this field. Kismarty can be classified more as a gentleman driver, like Ventaja or Colombani in TCR Europe. He has driven with Zengő for years now (mainly in endurance races, CEZ, now drives in TCR Eastern Europe too), is not a bad driver either, but I think he will be like Deledda in F3 this season, far back from the field, outclassed even by the second to last driver, who will most probably be Boldizs. But they can prove me wrong of course. |

The car seems quick from what we saw also here in Italy and a lot better from the old Cupra. Let's see if the spanish find the good feeling with the team |

Been a while since we’ve seen Zolder on the calendar, should be good fun
