A Le Mans entry comes with the ILMC entry so either ILMC entries are limited or GM are involved.

Not shocked of what happened to this joke (that dares to call itself a racing team), but if the ILMC entries for LM are limited... how lovely, what kind of championship doesn't allow you to at least try to participate at all rounds? Especially when it means that you're screwed for the rest of the year (due to the double-points)...

Which is why GM blocking the entry looks more likely, the ACO have said ILMC entries aren't limited.

Interesting stuff. No big loss to the Le Mans entry list but it's a shame a full season programme is gone.
I did have a feeling something like this might happen if an ILMC entrant isn't really of a great quality. |

Realistically any team that's going to be capable of challenging for the ILMC title is going to qualify for Le Mans, either automatically or through due process by the ACO. Sure there's always scope for a travesty (like the Arena Zytek not getting the call in 2005) but in the main I can't see too many real controversies happening. |

After all, Atlas entered the three ILMC races last year and didn't show up for any of them, and so far this year have announced the Panoz deal, which fell through, an LMP deal with Creation, which fell through, and then the ex-LG Vette. Given that an LM entry comes with an ILMC entry, the ACO might not formally be limiting ILMC entries, but they might be being picky about who they accept, especially for Le Mans itself... |

Well in fairness, that was due to the fact that they wrote off their car in the race before and couldn't get another chassis in time. However, their record from previous years is hardly fantastic.

Before long, the LM24 entry list will be revealed. Once it has, please tell me whom you what have eliminated, to have this team run?
This team did not run in a LM series last year... so they really shouldn't be at the top of the list. There are better more qualified teams running better Vettes.... |

Or, maybe the excuse that the ACO turned down their Le Mans entry (under pressure from Chevy or otherwise) is complete BS...
They never completed purchase of the Corvette & given their track record in the past few months, who's to say they weren't the latest team trying to pull a fast one? |

2xLMP1: Mathieu Lahaye/Guillaume Moreau/Pierre Ragues & Jacques Nicolet/Richard Hein (+Jean-Francois Yvon for Sebring,LM & PLM) 1xLMP2: Patrice Lafargue/Frederic da Rocha/Andrea Barlesi. Probable 2nd LMP2 at Le Mans. Cars in Gulf colours |

Not sure if there'll be any suprises on the final entry list apart from the unknown US team.

Rumor is two US teams in ILMC, Krohn Racing is confirmed...
Any word on what Drayson will doing? So far at the shared ILMC/LMS races at least we will see 16 LM P1, 13 LM P2and 20 GTE... that's not bad, isn't it... |

Drayson have said they're in but they wouldn't be classed as a US team.

Drayson is very much an UK team. I'd say the other US team is Level 5, they were looking for a Lola coupe, RML sold their's (and both are HPD clients this year).
If Dale White left Drayson, could he be joining forces with Level 5 or starting his own team? |

I heard that the car that level 5 plan to use at Le Mans is the ex-RML coupe ?

Supposedly Luxury Racing were meant to be announcing their plans today.
Will be interesting to see if it is the 2 car ILMC attack in 458's that leaked a few weeks ago. |

Don't know about Mucke, but I believe that Turner is set to run full season with Young Driver again. I wonder which one he is planning to skip, ILMC in Imola or GT1 in Navarra.
No Porsches in GTE Pro, and only one in Am. Bit surprised of that. |
