So just to clarify, we will get Bomn to announce 7 awards for the Hall of fame.

World Champions:

World Drivers Champion: - car with most points

World Constructors Champion: Top 3 cars from each member with most points

Scratch League Drivers Champion : Driver with most points (ending second last race)

Scratch League Constructors Champion : Top 2 cars from each member with most points (ending second last race)

Other Awards:

Rookie of the Year : Most points from a car from someone that is in there first full season (you will have to tell us if your in the running)

Biggest Points Contributor : To Member that contributed the most points to the Ten-Tenths main league total (compiled from top 50 point scorers only)

Pole Sitter : Awarded to person with most pole positions for the season (if a tie, awarded to car with higher points)

Thoughts?

Also, what would everyone like Bomn to keep records of for each track? Obviously qualifying lap records, anything else?

Bomn is doing a fantastic job, and I'm sure he would appreciate your feedback

Since we're going it alone with the Scratch League, would it not be simpler to have all the scratch teams in the main league, identified by 'SL' or something (ie. Antrodemus velox SL), and run the league right through to the last race?

It could, although people can change team names, the number would identify them.

I just think it would be easier to read who is where if they are seperate.

We could still count the last race though after we bring them over if you like.

Hall Of Fame

What I need from you to make it easy.

Lap records.
Will be taken for both Scratch and World championships from Qualifing times as we have been doing. Just add your name and time to the list in the forum.

Scratch and World Drivers Championships.
I will just copy and paste from the game rankings pages.

Scratch Constructors Championship.
Will be just 2 Cars added together.

World Constructors Championship.
No need to nominate. I will simply add together your top 3 placed cars. If you only have 2 cars you had better score some big points.

In the event of tied scores the driver with the highest YRM ranking will be placed in front.

With equal lap times usually the rule is the first to post the time gets the record as it becomes the time to beat. But as we are dealing with time zones, sleep requirements and the fact that its just a game so I think equal billing should be given.

Anything else that you want added just let me know.

I will see how it works as we go along but I think we can keep them seperate on paper when the time comes for the move.

Qualified 2nd (of three!) in my group for Japan. Bit of fine tuning for the car and should get some decent points!

I am utterly mystified

!!! I qualify well, my car is only 0.7s off the pace in testing, and my lead cars drag themselves home 11th and 13th!! They were easily 2s off the fastest race pace, and I honestly just do not get it. There is something here that I don't understand and I don't know what it is.

And to make matters worse, the money collectors all come home in the points, with one of them now on more world championship points than my fully developed car! Yes, the one where I didn't even indicate a pit strategy or bother qualifying it. :confused: :confused:
