Don't talk to me about paint..... I've got this Pontiac thingy to strip and paint yet! There's sooo much of it. I must buy a smaller car in future.

This thing makes Harry look little! Scary!

Welcome to the fold David...both on Ten-Tenths and DTRC!

I'm starting to get excited about the new season...so much so I went out and bought 600 envelopes today!!

There are certainly going to be some pretty cars out there...the Best Prepared Car is going to be difficult to judge in 2007!

Thats the one, olympic blue with blue RS2000 decals. Took it easy in the first couple of runs and then similtaniously broke BOTH half-shafts on the next (only broke one of the previous meeting ), think I may have set off a large head gasket failure too

Don't think I should double drive other peoples car's anymore, so better get mine done I suppose

Funny but the crash was not Hammonds fault. There where two cars built by a dragster driver called Allan Heridge,Bootsy was his nickname.Bob Phelps who built and owned Santa Pod Raceway had the two cars built to fill in between the runs by the ordinary fuelers .They would run many times a weekend and always one would be fractionaly faster than the other recording terminal speed of 250/255 mph. they where only made to do 250/260 and the day after the crash Roy Phelps(Bobs son) told me that the tyres where never meant to do that speed and if you look at the first run you can see the o/s/f tyre beginning to break up.Dont know where the story came from that Colin Fallows built Vampire,he wasnt even on the scene when Hellbender,Vampire or Scorpian where built(Now that was a car and a half) same engine as the Lightning fighter, Andrew Hurdle who drove it said it was just getting warmed up at 250 on the quater mile, how do I now this,Bob Phelps asked swmbo to drive either 'Hellbender' or 'Vampire',dont know why but she declined and that was way back in about 1975.
Getting back to our scene, why do the marshals only think of themelves, wont even offer a poor driver nourishment at the trackside.
All of you marshals at Brands today, thanks a million.
