What happens is that I understand, but my flock often don't and I get bombarded by "What circuit are we on Diz * ?" phone calls and emails. * except those who don't know me yet and respectfully refer to me as Mr Smith |

Andrew Charles - hello. Now at least my comment in the preview that I know nothing about you isn't quite true.
Phil - you're not the only one with the problem but it IS a small number of people. I am told it will be resolved when the server moves to the data centre afte Easter. We COULD do a fix now, but I'm told that if we do the site will be down for a couple of days when we move across, rather than a couple of hours, and given the small number (as far as we know) of people affected it seems best not to do that. I'll keep you updated. |

Ian, i've had no problems accessing it before until today. It keeps coming up with 'The page cannot be displayed' now but i'm sure once you have made the changes you mentioned earlier it will be fine for everyone.
Great site though when i did see it. |

Since this is website specific and has been mainly tech supp for the last few posts, I have moved to cool sites.

BT does seem to be cropping up an awful lot - I don't know if that is because it is a particular problem, or if because a lot of people use it...

I'm told that the problem was connected with a DNS server on BT. As a result of this problem darcym has reported the problem to BT, who may well have fixed it now. This is a BT rather than a FF1600.co.uk issue. Some people reporting problems use Pipex or NTL - I am told that these providers may have used the same server.
Hopefully the problem will soon be resolved, if it hasn't been already. Regards Ian |

I'm told that it may not be an instant fix - in some cases it may take a couple of days for the DNS to resolve (whatever that means!).
