If my son brought me one home from Aston, I’d take it……

At least they have a car running, but it's still not a 'lmh' yet.

It will be nice if the Aston actually makes it, after all the idea of hypercars was intended to see road cars (well for the super rich) actually compete in the top class at le mans once again

Even with the "cammo-look" livery, there are some changes to it, especially the rear wing design.

Living not that far from Gaydon I do see these things far more than most, they do look striking on the road but I also think they look ridiculous trying to get round roundabouts and speedbumps, it is just an accessory really like most supercars it is about showing how rich you are and I personally find that rather foul.
As a race car though it is fascinating, the fuel issue must be very tricky I know the engine is very light for its size, or they would not have done this I guess, but is it going to be hybrid at all? I guess so. |

I was starting to get a little worried that we hadn't actually seen the car out on track yet given they were using a test mule for the engine so to see these images/videos is very welcome. Although we haven't seen a proper image yet i think it looks brilliant.

Anyone else think the rear wing has rather large endplates?

Looks like the original car is way too aero effective and to be under 4/1 they need to gain drag (effectiveness in yaw with those longitudinal planes is there too but - for me - it's not the only goal for those elements). I wonder what's going on around the front axle to balance centre line of aero pressure.
