I can't see how the first meeting will be on given everything else in the world has been cancelled or postponed.

This is going to be one depressing year, this weekend was incredibly dull. Suppose to be going back home at some point this year but that's probably going to go down the pan

The good thing going for the BTCC is it only has 10 weekends to run, so if they need to run a compressed calendar it would be easier to manage.

I guess the thing is that a lot of circuits have very full calendars, so it would be a battle over dates.

As I bagged one of the free tickets earlier this year, I may take the day off work on Tuesday in the hope of seeing some track action in the first half of the year before it gets suspended due to Government restrictions.

I don't hold out much hope for the Silverstone April meeting for which I've already got a ticket & (non refundable) hotel booked.

Yep, being realistic even if this disaster only lasts for 2 or 3 months the chances are some series will be completely cancelled to accommodate others.

It goes without saying that one of the problems is that nobody actually knows how long sports and everything else is going to be affected.

I'm not hopeful at all of seeing any live motor racing on tv for the next 3 months at the very least.

Here's what I have heard. Media day will probably go ahead but the public won't be allowed to have access to the teams - Pitlane walkabout cancelled.

No racing until at least Thruxton, possibly Oulton but most likely the first BTCC race will be Snetterton in late July.

It is what it is my friends. NO ONE KNOWS x

Which hotel have you booked? Premier Inn are now allowing changes to bookings even if they were booked as non flexible
