Was the WR disqualified or not? Seems that Courage is having problems with the AER, just like the MGs

Courage's problems were apparently battery-related- from DSC's reports, Sam Hancock had a spin and the car took a long time to re-start- they'd been leading the class by something like 9 laps at one point.... |

What was wrong with the air box? The normal infringement these days tends to be failing the air cut off test. The intake is covered and the engine should stall. If there is a crack then it may keep running. Was it this?

And it seems that I really missed something ! I still have the tape Bravo to Minassian and Creation, and more to the whole field : they did a splendid job, and an outstanding show too ! Roll on LMES ! |

One question, will Eurosport show highlights of the race, and if yes, when?
Thanks in advance. |

You really do need to make (different?) arrangements to see Motors TV coverage of these LMES races. They have both been fantastic entertainment.
Hindy has been commentating from a studio in Paris, and has been getting his background info from dsc, via our coverage from the track. I feel very lucky to have been at both events. UK fans - make sure you're at Silverstone... and then go to Spa as well. MC |

The ELMS seems to be much more interesting than the ALMS, but we don't get coverage until sometime after the fact, and then, it's only an hour....ARGHHHHHH!!!!

That's more than I get at home, since I'm without cable altogether. So what makes of cars finished in the top 5 of each class?
Just as an aside. I'd love to see a sportscar race at Spa. |

I've watched about 2 hours of the race so far and would like to thank John & Guy for doing such a great job under trying circumstances. |

Watched most of the Nurburgring LMES race and it was fantastic entertainment, with racing througout the field, for the whole race.
Great commentary as well, really added to the ceverage. Can't wait for Silverstone. |

FYI : no bitter feelings after the lost of the LMP2 victory by WR ; the team mentionson Inforcourse that the championship is great, the rules are OK, and that they will be there at Silverstone.
More : they give some precisions about the engine : it did LM PQs, LM qualifiactions, LM race, Nürbürg qual and Nürbürg race ! Did you say "reliable" ? Last edited by Fab; 7 Jul 2004 at 04:19. |
