Ambrose has to be looking at JPM. It takes time to be consistently near the front, something JPM is only just getting into.

FPV8U should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Great result for the #42 Team & JPM, gaining quite a few points where they expected to lose out.

The First JPM Oval Victory feels so close...

Great job by Stewart, Biffle & Gordon with the 2 tire stratergy, wonder why the #48 & #42 didn't give it a crack at all as it seemed to cost both of them at different stages of the day.

John Paul and Co have really turned up the wick here lately.
good finish for them and a somewhat uncharacteristic finish for JJ.

I haven't heard JPM's rant? Is there anywhere I can hear it?

I knew the old Juan Pablo was in there somewhere. This is what he needs to do in order to win races. He has been playing it safe and he has also been far too good at the NASCAR PR stuff making sure he thanks the "Chip Ganassi Target Poloroid Juicy Fruit blah blah blah..."

That's not Juan Pablo - we need the ranting to come out...

I agree. I am certainly not complaining about how he has played it so far. His tactics have been spot on, but maybe it would take a final push to make victory lane and potentially win the chase?

On the sponsor mentions, that's very much an American thing. He was the same in CART and even in F1 to begin with. After yet another engine failure in 2001 he'd thank the "whole William BMW team, they did an amazing job all weekend". Heck in 2001 he didn't even seem to get angry at anything ever.

Can't find the rant anywhere. It was very amusing, but wouldn't like to have been Brian Pattie at that time.
