2011 Calender
Does anybody know what the 2011 calender is?
I thought it was going to be released at Bathurst but I can't find anything. Have I missed something?
I'm sure like many others on here I need to start booking tickets, flights, etc.

Anyone?

Scheduled to be revealed on Saturday at Bathurst, story goes the release didnt happen as VESA are working on making the Singapore race a points round...

Mr Cochrane was baled up by several groups of fans across the weekend asking when it would be released, "Soon" was the response

You will love Perth AP, not as much as Darwin but it is a nice place. Middle East for the sizzlers next year, should try that one. And hopefully Bathurst.

Nope, too late (too close to the first snow flurry) AND is Historic Winton Weekend....

TC can bite my ass if he tries to move that weekend (once in 34 years is bad enough, and his measly 11 years of tradition is but a third of theirs)

2 weeks earlier, before the weather breaks......

Hopefully it wont be the mismash it was this year, but it obviously, probably will be. The lame 2 race opener in the middle east probably put a few people to sleep for the year and the long breaks in the schedule was another disruption.

They need to get it together and get it organized better.

GTR: I think your Winton round is a week later than Rachel suggested. And +1 to what was said about moving Historic Winton, Tony may think he can do what he wants, but I reckon he would find himself pushing against a brick wall if he went after that particular weekend.

Sure, and with just 8 weeks notice, it will be re-drafted to fill in for the collapsed 6th event...

I know the lure of wanting to appear at GP's is on TC's mind ATM, but how would they get from Hamilton NZ to Korea in just a week, especially if they have a damaged car whose parts would not be allowed past NZ customs?

I thought the 2011 Korean GP was scheduled for 16th October, so it wouldn't be F1 race weekend.

I would prefer an idea I heard on V8 Insiders recently:

8 - 10 sprint rounds up to about August & then 4 enduros to see out the year.
PI 500, Bathurst 100 + 2 more proper enduros & not that GC rubbish.
