I'd like to see Cam McConville at HRT and Todd Kelly would do alright at CPR too.

I'd like to see David Thexton in at HRT. With better equipment and someone to copy setups from he's times will tumble. He might even qualify mid-field.
Which is a damn sight better than the team number 2 car did at Bathurst. |

There's always HYL again. Kurt Wimmer as of 2 days ago was wondering where he was going to get $300k from.
As for the Dumbrell thing, it would be cheaper to pay him out or offer him something else than to do the same with the other alternatives. Last edited by pete55; 6 Jan 2005 at 10:57. |

When it comes to driver salary, who pays the bills ?
Does Garth get payed by Holden, or by Kelly Motorsport ?? Im thinking that maybe Kelly Snr is looking at a very oddly balanced balance sheet for 2005 without a title sponsor, and if he can employ both his son's as race drivers, he saves considerable money on drivers (If Lowndes, Ambrose, Bright, Skaife are reportadly above $1 a year). Im sure Rick and Todd would race for free if it meant Daddy's team benefitting, and then HRT is left to foot the $500,000?? bill for Garth Tanders services for 2005 ?? If you look at it financially, it might just make sense. |

Maybe - but HRT should be a bit less paranoid about their co-drivers is all I'm saying.

Wasn't Crash holding off on signing for this year as he wanted a payrise, as he believed that he would become the No.1 driver for the team with Murph gone.

I guess when it was all Kmart racing, things were rosier and Crash thought there might be a payrise in it.
Perhaps Crash and Toddler would drive for share of ownership? Not a great move for either though... |

When Kelly Motorsport Holdings becomes a second rising of TWRA, why wouldnt being lead driver or even the much unloved number two make some sense.... presuming these boys get their acts together!

Since he'll never get far enough in the race without taking himself and a few others off to worry about the engine blowing up. |

GTR was right, NYE 2004 would have been the perfect opportunity to unveil his 2005 strategy....imagine the publicity in the 'off season' for motorsport, AFL, NRL, etc...

And Skaife to FPR?
Theres just as much of a chance of this happening as most of these other suggestions. |

Ford wouldn't have Skaife in a fit. They did there market research years ago and didn't like what they saw. |
