I think Holden need to have a chat with WPS (take their checquebook and pride) and get them to take out the 3 leading Fords - I'm sure they can make it look like an accident.... They would probably also need to try to line up another car as backup, in case the WPS cars get damaged before they can get near the leaders.... OK, who wants Holden sponsorship next year?

Murphy would be one candidate. He has no problems punting a few cars off.

I am sure Murphy would not punt Lowndes off --did you see the chemistry between two old former team mates after the last race at Indy!a bearhug for a good battle and the best man won (of course)

Whilst I'd love to see Craig win it, I think Russell will. Unless of course he takes an early trip into the scenery!

Lowndes to win.

Lowndes and 888 have the momentum at the right end of the season,Ambrose,Ingall and SBR seem to have lost their way a little.

I would be very happy to see Ingall come second.

Again.

As for Skaife, how much does he regret the biff and barge with Ambrose at the beginning of the year.

Richards has not accumulated enough points.

No one rates Kelly as a chance then?

Mr J Bright may have a good shot of getting a good finish, because the Island is the test track for FPR

Who will be a Pi success and who will be the Champion?

Two different questions. Going on last start form, Tander would be looking to be on the pace and it is their test circuit and HRT would be looking for a goood result to round out the year and compliment their great Bathurst win.

Championship? Ingall.

Ingall is odds on but I'd love to see Lowndes come through and take it. He's been the star of the field this year and it is a testament to how bogus the points system is that he still finds himself behind Ingall.

Hope Craig can get out there and take poll at Phillip Island to put some pressure on Ingall.

Skaife to win. Lowndes and Murph to round out the podium. Ingall will scrape into the top 10 and do enough to take the championship.

Tander has come good at HSV and will be a genuine threat for the championship next year - but doesn't quite have the car for all circuits yet.

I voted for Ingall to win the Championship,

Ingall has the Championship already in the bag and only needs to finish this final round with a minimum of 144 points to win.

The final Championship standings will look like this:
1st: Russell Ingall
2nd: Craig Lowndes
3rd: Marcos Ambrose now pack your bags and Pee-off to the US and don't come back.

I didn't take any notice of who won at Symmonds, all I watched was the Championship contenders< and the same goes at the Island.

To win at PI: Who Cares!

To Win The Champion ship: Russel Ingall

Interesting to see that nobody thinks Ambrose can do it.(win the race) He is a man with nothing to lose after all. Though Ross and Jimmy have probably told him not to bend the new "equal No. 1" drivers new car!!!!

Ingall will win but Tander, Lowndes and Skaife will battle it out for the round win. Lowndes for my money.

Are you saying they're going to debut the "new" car at PI? Or that the current car will be new to a new driver?

Lovely sportsmanship shown there!!

With any luck we will get to see him come back for Bathurst as a co driver. Although I think the truck series clasehes with the 1000 next season?
