I have ownwed Vauxhalls for the last 4 years (on my second now). My dad is a Vauxhall technician so he can help me out when it goes wrong.
GM Motors. UK division: Vauxhall. European division: Opel. Australian division: Holden. American muscle cars seem to me seem to be the size of a small house, but the Aussies can really make muscle cars right. All I can say is: I WANT ONE! |

Now that the monaro is coming to the USA, all we need now is the maloo and the commodore SS and we'll be all set.
Ford needs to get the next gen Falcon certified for the US as the taurus and crown vic are absolutely dire. |

All you need is to make sure there are plenty of spare engines going on the boat with them to replace the one in it after a few thousand km's when the piston slap starts happening and you use more oil than petrol.

Here's the Topgear review of the Monaro, they unexpectedly liked it. Let's just say their not very complementary of Australia.

BS aside, Good on Holden I say. I would like to see more of this from both Holden and Ford.
If we can start producing a quality product and a competitive price it may save our local car industry (and it might then be worth saving). |

Mine was only on there for 10 minutes, anyway it saved wear and tear on the car that day. But I have to say the problems are all in the past thankfully, and I made a bloke in a XR8 look stupid on the weekend

I don't know if I upset people in SV8's or not.
It's hard to tell looking in the rear view mirror! |

But good enough to leave a SV8 gasping in it's wake.

Holden shouldn't have sent them to New Zealand, not if the Kiwi's are going to do this to them.

Lovely, in a Max Power kinda way!
Maybe the UK Vauxhall Nova/Corsa boy racers will graduate to Monaros when they reach puberty? |

The tow hitch rather spoils the 'image' don't you think?
The 'styling' does nothing for me but i bet those pipes sound good! Last edited by Bluebottle; 6 May 2004 at 16:14. |
