Nuvolari should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
F1 without Monaco? As unthinkable as the series minus Ferrari.

Monaco?? SLOW?? It's the only track where I actually CANNOT BELIEVE the speeds they're doing! I mean, it's OBSCENE the speeds they do through Casino, or La Piscine, for example. It's my fav. track opn the calander and should NEVER be dropped. Slow the cars, keep the circuits. If they DARE replace Monte wtih the (quite frankly) rubbish looking Nagantino I'll cry.

My rotational idea for the European GP still stands. Instead of having it always at the (again quite frankly) bland, lifless, distinctly beige Nurburgring, why not have it "travel" Europe?? rotate through:

Nurburgring, Zandvoort, Valencia, Jerez, Estoril, Paul Ricard, Le Mans (why not??), Rockingham infeild, Brno and another street circuit in a European city (Birmingham Superprix??!!)

Monaco is a party with a race thrown in for good measure. The vast majority of the people who attend Monaco are there to be seen by others, and secondarily to see the race.

You will never get rid of Monaco any more than you will get rid of Le Mans. It is a place to meet 200,000 of your best friends and incidentally see a car race through the city!

Your right Liz, the year I was there I met many old friends and we also had a great party.
I was always under the impression that racing cars should be designed to run on existing tracks rather then design the tracks to suit the cars. But then I'm probably considered to be old fashioned!
Monaco must be kept on the calender, there is no place like it and I sure hope that I will once more get the opportunity to see the race there.
