TSR has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Just herd the news, very sad indeed. A big loss to motorsport.

Frank was a legend who I had the privilege of watching racing in the 60s/70s whether it was in Alan Mann's Escort or Falcon, the SCA Camaro, the GT40, or in F1 or F5000. A great memory I have of Frank was a titanic battle he had in the Ford F3L with Denny Hulme in Sid Taylor's Lola T70 at Silverstone, until I think something broke. RIP

How appropriate that it is the Gold Cup meeting at Oulton Park this weekend. I am sure that Frank will be fondly remembered by many of those in attendance.

Very Sad - I shed a tear when I read of Franks Death in todays Sunday Mail.

A true legend and a gentleman - Frank will be missed as he heads off to the race track in the sky to chat with Brocky.

RIP Frank.

Yes, sad to hear of Franks passing. He was from a different era. Some of the stories about his exploits are legendary stuff.

What a life! He's no longer with us but Frank here's to you for a life very well lived. Thoroughly enjoyed, enriched, and educated so many others.

Not just a champion athlete and entertainer within the sport but a contributor to the community and no doubt savior of many lives through his many years dedication to driver education.

An honour sir.

That is devastating news. Frank was one of my heroes.

Absolute gun driver, gem of a bloke too. Very funny man.

RIP Frank.

The passing of Frank Gardner brings much sadness.

By all accounts, Frank was a champion of a man, a real character, and a very solid race car driver.

Frank took road safety on, and pushed ahead hard to get his case across. If ever there were champions of road safety from the motorsport industry in Australia, Gardner and Brock were those.

That Frank passed away as one of the most recognised experts in the field of driver training in the world is testament to the man who achieved so much on and off the track.

A wee toast in recognition of a great person is in order. Frank, we salute you!

I hear that the funeral will be held on Friday and we've asked the organisers at Muscle Car to hold a minute's silence in his honour on the weekend.

Very sad, I only just found out as I was away racing. I remember the Corvair Sports Sedan as a kid, and when he was team manager for BMW. I loved his honest and sometimes blunt manner.

RIP.
