Claire should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
In a perfect world having a rota for breaks would be great but apart from last Sunday the majority of this season has seen posts with only just enough cover. I guess we will have to see what happens but a programme like that may put a few off.

Is JP planning on fitting lights to the FPA's, given that sunset is 16:19 (approx.) on the 5th November! Might get away with it if the weather is fine (ha-ha).

Although not on the EERC website yet, I believe that the timetable has been modified and the FPA's will be racing earlier. Unfortunately I don't know if the break times have altered - the problem for the night practice is that it should take place 30 minutes after sunset, which does restrict when it can be run.

Thanks for the update Dave. Whatever it's still going to be a good meeting and I sure that everyone concerned will create a workable timetable before the weekend, so we can finish the year off in style!

Thanks for the feedback on Sunday morning also, much appreciated.

I take it we will not be required during the "sponsors laps" so we get a decent break there then aswell

Hi Andy,

Yes, hopefully we should be able to stand down for approx 20mins, may depend on who and what's involved in the "Sponsors Laps", but if cover is needed it should be minimal I would guess. At least the organisers have tried to provide additional rest periods as requested, obviously at the expense of or due to the lack of MSV FFord entries.

Good to see that the circuit (Motorsport Vision /BHRC) are providing Breakfast and a hot drink for £3.00 on Saturday and Sunday rather than the normal prices.

In addition, as Stan has mentioned in another thread, there will be a disco together with some free food for marshals in Tyrrell's on Saturday night from 8.15pm after the night race.

I see there is an issue 3 timetable on the EERC website which is nothing like the one above, back to just one break and a guest championship. Not sure which one we will be following, I guess we will have to wait and see!

Just to add that the weather forcast is absulte c**p for Saturday as well! I'm going to be a bit unhappy if it gets rained off having driven all that way for it-driving/marshalling/photography in the dark and rain at Snet' will not be much fun !!

The timetable that Terry posted on the 28th is the same as the one on MSV's website and also matches the timetable published in the Final Instructions, so that's what should be happening!

All of which means that we will have Britsports, Britcars, FPA, T Cars and VSR/SUper Silhouettes. The only other track activity will be sponsors laps in road cars, time permitting, after the second break.

Update on forecast (according to Metcheck) - OK Saturday morning then small amount of rain from Saturday afternoon and throughout Sunday.

Thanks Dave, yes the EERC website has now had a new news item posted under the heading "sign on times Snett" which shows the correct timetable with the correct break periods on Saturday as previously posted here on the 28th Oct. Hopefully this clarifies the situation.
