Add a second Reiter Lambo to the list?
They have it to run...

But I seriously doubt we'll see Vitaphone, they've got nothing to prove. Gigawave probably don't have the funding for two cars either.

If Vitaphone don't come back, then I wonder what the chances are of someone else running the cars?

The MC12 must have a decent swansong after all......

Isn't the other Lambo in LMS/ACO spec though??

I don't think Vitaphone will leave.

Who funds Gigawave anyway? And they would have to find another DBR9.

If someone else was to run the cars then they would have to have a big budget, because, isn't the MC12 one of the most expensive cars to run, so I have heard?

with rahal being an american team im skeptical as to wether they would make the trip across the pond to race at spa with the new M3, particularly if the current economic situation persists which is practically certain for the next few years.

what about the new lamborghini, gallardo GT2 or so ive heard, a candidate for a new GT2 entry under the reiter banner?

With the ACA team effectively being run by Larbre i think seeing them in a DBR9 for next season would be a very strong possibility. If they could get the funding from the ACA.

Does Larbre still have the three DBR9 chassis's though (DBR9/1, DBR9/2, & DBR9/3)?

Could bepossible they might still have them. BMS was really complaining it was a pain in the .. to get the two DBR-9's sold before the 2008 season in order to buy the F430.
It was dead silence in the Larbre camp and I haven't seen them up for sale at all.

Who did they go to, because as far as I am aware they had three chassis's (DBR9/6, DBR9/8, & DBR9/9)?

I think they were, seen as chassis's were past between AMR, BMS & Larbre.

Plenty of DBR9's knocking about doing nothing then it seems!

As I suggested earlier one of these cars would be logical for ACA to run, if they continue with that programme beyond this season.

All the cars are relatively expensive to run, so it'll be upto Ratel and whoever owns the cars to convince various parties or sponsors that backing an Aston or MC12 is a good idea in the last season for these models.

Bob Riebe User has been fined for unsportsmanlike behaviour!
If they want anyone to run, then they had better put up enough prize money that they will think it is not a waste of time to run.

Well whatever 'they' put up has worked quite well in attracting entries up til now, so why not for the swansong for current GT1 cars?

I'm sure Larbre still has a DBR9, or they have sold it in the last cople weeks.

Vosse told in an interview that they could race the DBR9, but that they only had a contract for the Saleen.
he also said that the 2nd Saleen they couldn't enter for them, because it is from a driver who races FFSA GT.

DBR9 Chassis number #102 has been for sale for some time now, the second customercar after Larbres #101.

Anyone know the owner of this ride?

The 101 was never raced by Larbe. The 101 is the Team Modena car

#102 is the unraced car originally supplied to Alcides Diniz in Brazil in 2005/6. Oakfields in the UK had it advertised for ages (must have been something like a year) alongside a couple of other ex-Diniz cars- a Lister Storm and a DTM Merc- The Lister seems to be the only one listed as in stock on their website at present though.

More detail on #102:
http://www.astonmartins.com/aston_ma...hassis_102.htm

I suspect it isn't exactly FIA-legal in it's current spec (non-standard high-downforce aero kit and about 75bhp over a standard '05-spec DBR9) though....

Seems like the Americans are getting good representation with their Saleens, Ford GTs and Corvettes.

I don't properly follow the FIA GT C-ship, but where would be the best place to find a 2009 FIA GT race calendar if one doesn't appear here, or a provisional one at the least?

Thank you for all the nice informations on this DBR9, I have never seen it raced anywhere. #102 has been advertised here for quite some time.

Nice site, Astonmartins.com, however I dearly miss a chassis list for the works cars, to learn more about the Danish owned DBR9 workscar..?

If LAA does show up in FIA-GT next year, what's the chance they'll show up with both of their Corvettes and Gavin and Beretta as drivers of one of them?

Subaru_WRX_STi has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I am sure that LAA will continue in Le Mans Series, with their C6.Rs, even I hope to see them coming to FIA GT, the same for Reiter Engineering
