James,
Any idea which club is running the 3rd April round at Brands as we will need to get availability forms sent soon in order you are not under marshalled? |

The EERC website has confimed it is an exclusive EERC meeting. Not sure how James is going to arrange the manning of the circuit. If any one want to marshal it I am sure James will tell you how soon.A wild guess is as it is at Brands BRSCC HQ or BMMC would be he best clubs to ask for voulenteering through.BARC alrady have meetings that weekend so I expect they will be streched for marshal anyway.

Most of the marshals that 'do' Brands do it for all clubs. I am more concerned that you will need to let people know in plenty of time in order to avoid under staffing. As I said above, I am more than willing to help where possible but don't leave it too late guys.

James,
Thanks for your reply. I will have a chat to the Chief Marshal of the BRSCC Brands Hatch and get his ok to post a request for marshals that weekend. With it being a 2 day meetinmg and on the full GP circuit, we are going to need as many marshals as possible for good safety cover. Leave that with me to organise for you...One less headache I imagine |

Yes sorry, my mistake. I am just waiting for confirmation from the BRSCC and will then start a seperate thread in the Marshals Forum to get a few volunteers lined up.

Steve,
Best wishes for 2004 to you and Stuart. The Porsche certainly looks nice (not that the Golf didn't!). It was good to see you at Silverstone in May. That lousy weather finally got the better of me at copse, where I spun. Good practise though, because in the Alfa race a copule of weeks later, Someone coated Copse with a slick of oil, and I pirouetted off at exactly the same place (now thats consistency!). |

Ian, you've just made ten-tenths most frequent mistake !!!!
I'm Steve Wood the Britcar/EERC PR man, not Steve Wood the Golf Guy, though he also posts on this forum ! Fortunately we know each-other reasonably well, and we're used to the confusion. No doubt Steve or Stuart will browse this thread soon and respond. |

As JT is on-line, just to say that I've written the cheque and that Linus and I will racing at Silverstone and Brands GP.Report from Mallory this morning was that the car went brilliantly and is now off to Tech 9 for the dry-break refuelling gear to be fitted.
Looking forward to testing at Silverstone on Feb 27 Paul |
