The Balfe car was also upgraded midseason, which changes some things. They had an 04 style roof scoop for the first half of the season, I believe. Another important difference between the Balfe and Zakspeed cars was the boots: Dunlop didn't have the chops to compete with Michelin in FIAGT last year. Driver pairing as well, of course...

Regarding the mirrors, i know Nash used them, it was just a pointer :P I wouldn;t have said the Balfe pairing was shoddy or slow, not even compared to Zakspeeds- remember, Bert tended to look slow compared to Janis himself. And yes, Dunlop have been behind for some years now. |

My point wasn't made to have a go - but rather to point out that Dunlop have made big steps forward this season.

They might have, but they've not got a big team. perhaps BMS should have a word, coz their pirellis are CRAP. |

Pirelli's wet tyre is ok, but it isn't good enough to make up for their crap dry tyre.
It's time BMS kicked them to touch and got a new sponsor, they're embarassing themselves. |

Well, judging by FP1 times it looks like a Maserati weekend.
Althought FP2 doesnt seem it so far, I guess we'll see how Quali turns out. |

Kumpen pole, Mucke 2nd, Wendlinger 3rd...first Maserati is 4th (Bertolini), with Lechner a credible 5th. |

Yeah, I seem to have got it all wrong
Quality lap by Kumpen, very quick indeed, hopefully they're not so quick in the race tomorrow so we get a race for first place! Lechner did good, the team in general are getting consistently quick now it seems. |

Hmmm this would make Wendlinger's aston favourite for spa, with no ballast.
why have PK pushed the round before spa? Belgian team, Belgian race, full ballast? Seems a bit odd to me however, Corvette couldn't match Aston and Masser last year. Congrats to Lambo, but even more to Peka and to Mr Michael Bartels. Phwoar. |

I'm more interested in when I can watch it during the week on Sky or something. Any one know when it's on? |
