It is apparently unique to Zytek.
Other teams can buy it though, can't they? What is actually legal in LMP1. The F1 semi-auto systems are banned. What are the ones used in LMP1? |

'Zytek is currently in negotiation with a number of series organisers and the company welcomes enquiries from race teams and individuals interested in using the EGS' Be interesting to see where else it turns up.... |

Note to Wout: I'm not a rules expert, but I believe the LMP1 rules include cars at the 675 weight limit. Example: MG-Lola is now in the LMP1 class, even though its not fully compliant under the new LMP1 rules. Or, in the ALMS Dyson and Intersport must run their Lolas in the same class as the 900kg Audi. The only true LMP1 out there is NASAMAX if I'm not mistaken. Although it's a hybrid.
Question, what did the Creation DBA weigh in at for Monza? |

Stunning car! And I'm disappointed that it didn't last very long...

LMP1= traditional LMP900 and LMP675 w/carbon tubs, '04 rules LMP1 chassis (new aero rules). Weight minimum is 900 kilos for LMP900 and LMP1, carbon tubbed 675s are still allowed to weigh 675 kilos. Equivalancy rules for LMP900 and carbon LMP675s include narrow 180 cm rear wing and 80L fuel tank.
LMP2=former LMP 675 w/aluminum tubs and '04 rules LMP2. Weight minimum is 750 kilos. Equivalancy rules for ali. LMP675s include narrow 180 cm rear wing and 80L fuel tank. |
