Becci replied to say that as tickets are really limited can I just wait for the originals to turn up.
If they don't I'll be blagging my way in with my mate's finals which show my name on them!

Hi guys.

Reference the campsite, as like MattFord I too am a GRRC member, I phoned Goodwood last week to ask about the marshal's campsite. It has indeed moved, as there were numerous complaints about the site at the top.

The 'marshals only' campsite will be situated at Molecombe, enterable by gate 7/8. To get to it you stand at the entrance to the drive by the turnaround (bottom end by Goodwood Marriott Hotel) facing the entrance. Turn right and go up the road (with the House and event area, carparks etc on your left). The campsite is 200 yards or so up the road situated on the left.

It will apparently have better showers and toilets than last year. Unlike last year, no drivers or exhibitors will be allowed in, this is assuming that there is a decent security man on the gate! There will be transport laid on to take us to sign on.

This suits me better, as I will be in my usual spot in the Supercar Paddock. See you all there. I hope the weather is better than the Friday of last year's event!

Ducks

Ah the ducks are secret little things that only come out at post 1. We have been tending them year on year and they get better each year. First there was one then one became two (oh no I know a Spice Girls song)!!!! ore was it two became one

34p for luncheon vouchers

Got my luncheon vouchers, may be if they handed them out at sign on they could have saved the postage and given us an extra yorkie bar... Got Cathedral return again this year, and hope the campsite is abit flatter for the caravan, almost got bogged down last year.

Kizzers, I think you will find it does. I believe the the event is run under a International permit so brings all the regs with it and BARC are running the hill climb. But a quick email or call to HQ will resolve the issue for you

I seem to remember that you can walk to and from Car Park 7 if you really have to which has been quicker than waiting for the bus and doing a tour of the Goodwood Estate last thing on a Sunday.

If you are working on the Hillclimb then it's run by BARC. BARC rules will, therefore, apply.

hi fellow marshals this is my first post.
stig- il see u on finish 2.
is finish 2 a good or boring post? i was on crossing 8 last year which was good apart from the weather. but i noticed no tv screens so i kinda felt left on what was happening down the hill cos none of the f1 boys stopped to do burn outs ect.
thanks Jon

I have got all three days but due to a shift change it seems I can only make the Sat & Sun. Either way looking forward to it!

Don't know where I am posted though!
