Exactly, they are most likely tested not yet homolgated panels/solutions and may not have more than one per chassis, if they are even testing with 2 cars. Question for somebody like Mulsanne Mike or other techies, How much of the bodywork is computer/wind tunnel designed over on track testing? Could they be bringing various parts to the testing to submit to the ACO as their 'corrections' to make the R15+ or possibly their next prototype?

Sebring test
Audi was testing what can at the very least be called an updated R15 and an R8gt at Sebring. It should also be noted that they were testing along side Highcroft's updated Acura....but I wouldn't read too much into that.

Sounds like an ALMS sponsored test now. Any word on who was present at the track with Audi and Highcroft?

Why would it have to be ALMS-sponsored to have Audi and HPD/Highcroft there? 2+2 != 25,000.

I have a hunch that there was another Porsche RSR team there. But I cannot confirm that.

I'm sure they will try to get as much time with the new tires as possible! Trying to cross correlate the data between the new and old.

Nothing more than a shared among teams track rental (they do it almost every year). Audi, Dyson, Cytosport, Highcroft. Risi transporters are on site, but not set up.

Sadly, mother nature will make that as hard as possible. Its been drizzling all morning and now, since noon its pouring. (its been on and off rain in Sebring since Saturday).

Any info as to how many more days the teams will be testing at Sebring this week? I might head out there if it stops raining.

This group I believe tomorrow might be it. Between now and the 12 hour you can't go wrong stopping by the track (unless you're too far away).

In that case I might have to head out there when I get off. I'm only about 45 minutes from Sebring might be worth the trip.
