Looks good! Is it just using the circuit or the access roads as well? As some of those are of course not paved....I guess you could use the existing rally stages but i was sure these were gravel also?

Circuit and access roads are being used, Stage 1 is also being used and I can't remember about Stage 2! Stage 1 is all tarmac [remember that from driving it the other week!] and not driven Stage 2 but the event is all tarmac.

Great to see this has an official site now. This looks to be the first motorsport event of 2011 for me, so really looking forward to seeing an entry list. I assume its going to be 2wd and 4wd? Or just 2wd?
Will there be any sort of stage maps made available to members of the public? (I'd like to try and spot the good places to set my camera up!  )

Not sure re maps apart from the one in MN, and there will be 2 and 4WD cars out. You can keep up with the latest entries online once they open

I've paid for it via paypal - so in theory our entry shouldn't be "pending". I guess it's a manual process to move them from one category to the other?

It is, Tony has to mark the entry as paid so shortly it will move from pending. I think he's awake now having caught up on sleep after a big CMC event this weekend just gone. To quote him:
