I might put some loose change "each way' on cars 14 & 33.
I reckon they could upset a few bigger names. |

Seems like a longshot...
Surely Skaife can't be fit enough? Would Roland take Pye of LDM's hands? Maybe Heimgardner will get himself on the grid?? Or does Stoner deadset want to do Bathurst??? All seems too hard to me. |

I don't think there is a cutoff... It's totally at the discretion of VESA. Remember when Ambrose came close to doing the Sydney race a few years ago? |

There are some interesting markets there on first Nissan home.. all seem to be paying over $3 a car for a $1 investment...

its interesting that the 12 ranked higher than the 18 in the Ford betting. Surely Charlie must be disappointed in this (from memory couldnt he have had Chaz)

Yes he could of, but the immediate sponsor dollars looked more attractive to Charlie than the talent of Chaz, which will have the sponsors knocking |

Perhaps i'm missing the point, but would switching the drivers of #12 to the #17 possibly have an effect on REC income (particularly as different entities own the respective RECs)?

But it might help determine where the REC ends up in the 2014 pit lane selection, based on REC points at season's end... |

Its almost like Woomeragate all over again, if you believe the story.. .. Except.. This is the 2nd chassis, the original V8SC test mule, stickered in Xbox colours for the Top Gear guys to play with.. The story about this being the 888-built VF isnt quite right... with MSR apparently running the car for Top Gear for the test... Presuming any of this actually happened |

Interesting discusion the other day, my mate says, why dont they have the top ten Dev Series cars added to the 1000. Fair comment, some of the Dev series guys could probably do well, but I dont know how the last years cars would go gainst the COFT. Has anyone compared the data.?
I wouldn't mind seeing the top five cars be given a crack at the main event. Just some interesting chat at lunch |
