Seems with all of the karters, the Verstappen craze begins
Leclerc and Russell would be awesome in F3, think Sasahara, Fittipaldi and Maini could do good stuff too. |

Leclerc and Russell have already showed they are ready for the next step...
I wouldn't be surprised if some of those karters will join Carlin/Fortec/DoubleR in MSA Formula 4.. They need to get used to cars, and i'm guessing Carlin/DoubleR haven't got slower cars because they are still waiting for the MSA Formula car(s) to be delivered..? (Just a crazy guess.....) Otherwhise the Verstappen craziness has started indeed... |

Pretty good calendar I have to say - it's nice to see Monza back although I do sometimes wonder why they feel the need for two Hockenheim rounds, both supporting the DTM.
Speaking of which, as the DTM are switching to two races per round next season, I wonder what impact it will have on the F3 track time at each event? Looking forward to making the trip to Silverstone next year for F3 & WEC |

f3 races at monza are always heroic. excellent to see it back on the calendar.
the only weakspot is moscow, i wonder if they're going to get a bit more shirty about teams opting not to go in 2015? |

hmm, that's difficult to pick a side on isn't it? on the one hand, it's very much the teams that suffer if they don't take part in a round. on the other hand, it's a proper series at a high level with a considerable amount of attention on it and it looks rubbish if a group of teams don't turn up because the benefit of going is outweighed by the cost savings of skipping it.
it's costly in terms of man hours for the truckies to get there and back (the round trip is in the 3-4 week bracket for the english guys), and the less said about the border crossing and customs procedures the better. but it's more or less the same for everyone so... |

It is not really on-topic but.... F3 will return to Macau in 2015 the FIA website says
FIA Formula 3 Intercontinental Cup (1 compétition / competition) Date Pays / Country Nom de la compétition / Competition name 22/11 MAC Macau Grand Prix And again this is the only 'Intercontinental Cup' race... With the Pau GP staying a FIA F3 round... the Zandvoort Masters of F3 isn't really sure to stay on....? But, the Zandvoort Masters 2015 date is 1 week before the FIA F3 will race in Zandvoort, this should probably be the best (logistics) date for all teams, Time will tell....... |

From Autosport The FIA has also modified a regulation to the extent that it could impact heavily on the Masters of F3 at Zandvoort - for which no date has officially been set - as well as German F3, Euroformula Open and any attempt to revive British F3. European F3 teams are effectively forbidden from taking part in any other race or test with F3 cars of any specification at any venue on the FIA F3 schedule in the four weeks before the venue's European round. |

More pointless legislating from the FIA to make sure that they are in absolute control of all steps of the racing ladder, regardless of the benefits or hindrances.

At least they are racing at Zandvoort. Perhaps one of the three races that weekend will be the Masters event? Good calendar this year.
Had heard they are trying to get back on the Monaco GP support bill - wonder where that's headed? |

Heard the Monaco rumours for the last couple of years. Personally I think it would be a good move, but the schedule is pretty packed as it is...

In 2012 they managed to fit in F1, GP2, GP3, FR3.5 and the Porsche Supercup, so it wouldn't be impossible for F3 to race there, but they certainly wouldn't be able to hold the usual three races IMO. |

And did that make any difference on the decisions he made? I don't think so, they were purely business. And that is something that Domenicali can do as well.

Domenicalli established FDA and I think he has always followed the disciplines below or at least he can always rely on Baldisserri. It all depends on how much time he has on his hands.

Many F4 drivers have tested in F3.
Such as Maini, Russell, Boccolacci, Stroll. |
