asha should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
wasn't 46 the number that rossi's father ride to this first GP win? Or was it rossi's dad's first number?

I'd bet everyone who visites 10-10ths house on neither McCoy or Pitt winning the title... New bike, bad tyres, there is just no chance in hell of a even podium.

points will be scored thou... ie. Wet Races + lots of Luck

Kawasaki are still developing so expecting anything more than the occassional points-scoring position is asking a bit much.

I concur with gomick. I don't think the Kawasaki will be so slow it won't score. But it's still in development so there probably won't be any podiums/wins, unless there are conditions that suit McCoy to a T...

Yeah, they're running Sepang at the moment. But remember that McCoy has more experience than Pitt on both the bike and the track.

those times arent to bad - however you would think that yamaha and honda would go 0.5 to 1 second quicker than the 2002 qualifying times - kawasaki points wont be a problem... podium, 1 if conditions fall into place - wouldnt think kawasaki would be thinking of podiums this year though

I havn't seen a bookie in this much trouble since Robbie Waterhouse. I suggest you give him a call to get out of this mess. Surely he can speak to Gai and organise for you to lay off on a 'special' Regardless, I want my winnings!!!

That's a shame, as I've always been a fan of Waldmann. Bloody unlucky not to win a 250cc crown during his battle with Max.

Alex Hoffman as a replacement? Hmm, well, he didn't impress too much when he subbed for McCoy and Capirossi...

Hofmann has a contract as test rider for Kawasaki, I doubt that they would release him to ride the WCM.

There seems to be no real reason that Ralf quit?

He had a fall, i imagine that the bike is a handful and that he would certainly fall again, and at his age i dont think he wants to do that too much.

I say its a smart move on Ralf's part, he escaped a GP career in one peice.. thats an achievement in itself!

Thanks for the memories Mr Waldmann, your a champ!

Ralf will not be replaced by WCM. Instead Moriwaki have gained the final grid place and will run a Honda powered bike for Tamaki Serizawa (who?)

I don't like this idea of limiting grid space. Too much like F1 for more liking. If teams can afford to run machines in the MotoGP class, then let them. The more riders, the better IMO.
