"Premier 1 does in fact provide a unique opportunity - a chance to extend their brand image and exploit new revenue streams at a time when new money in football is drying up" (sic).
Graham Kelly as quoted in Autosport 24 August, talking about the proposed new Premier 1 championship. Just take a look at what he's saying. …."exploit new revenue streams…." . That suggests to me that the scheme is designed to enhance the profits of football clubs, at the expense of motorsport and I hope that the FIA and the relevant ASN's will kick this stupid idea into touch before we all witness the death of motorsport as we know it. |
