No, the look on Ralf's face revealed it all: Him and Monty can't have been on all that different fuel loads... we'll see tomorrow how the race pans out (or later today, depending on where you're located).

RubberD, welcome to 10 Tenths!
Jacques had a few choice words to describe him when they had their fight and recently, for another instance, Patrick Head used coded but pretty clear F1-speak to the effect that Juan did not understand he was not at a WC level (all this should be clear to a driver of Juan's experience). While nobody has openly called Juan an idiot, there's been a recurring theme that there is a problem with racecraft which in turn is a mental game. I could go no but after today's race I think it's fair to wonder what will it take for Juan to put a winning race together.

JPM did lose the race with that spin but thats racing I guess. Hopefully he wont do that again. He still came second though.

You could also say the Kimi lost the race with his penalty. Or that Schumi lost the race destroying his car on a off track excursion. At the end DC was the only one who didn't make a mistake and won. That is racing

You could also say that the biggest prat of the race was Rubens who totally lost it. But JPM really had the race in the bag, I don't know what he must be thinking now.

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed.

Well, JPM had the race for the taking, but a simple error cost him a win, but he gathered it up and claimed 8 points. Although he'll be disappointed that he spun, it was still a good performace. I don't think anything more really has to be said.

What was Montoya's thingy at the end - coming out of the garage and on the podium - he was unhappy about something? The post-nominals didn't give us any clue, other than his quote "S*** HAPPENS"

I guess that answers... Juan is human. He made a simple error out of no pressure and just lost it.

But if that's any yardstick to judge whether one is human, din't MS did the same at Indianapolis 00? Only that he kept the lead..

And about Ralf...hey give him some credit for some strong driving at the start... pity he was forced to the gravel..

Indeed, and Michael seems to be human as well.

Montoya's only fault was relying to heavily on traction control. Isnt that what its supposed to control, TRACTION ?

Er, I think it's to do with JPM's qualifying lap yesterday... but I'm not too sure either.

JPM proved to be human by spinning off in the lead, a silly mistake, but at least he kept going to finish 2nd. And he did qualify well yesterday, but still finished almost a second behind the Ferrari's.

Who more delusional than you to talk about it

I think Juan looked super-human when he drove 3 seeconds per lap faster on dry tires in changing conditions.

THe other thing is that Ralf spun out in the same spot. Could it be that the Wil's TC had a bug for that corner?

Well, thats what happens when the track dries out and youre on slicks. Schumacher took 11 seconds on Montoya in the 3 laps prior to Montoya picking up the pace.

What is superhuman about that?

Anyway, superhuman drivers don't spin while in the inchallenged lead.

He wasn't really bothered by the absence of bardgeboards, no was he. The pit where he got the second one removed was planned anyway.

Im not calling Schumacher superhuman. I suggest you don't call Montoya superhuman either. Thats my point and nothing else.

And again you find yourself hilarious...
