Its not even close, its Wilson. He's taken the worst car in the lot from last place to 7th and 8th place in the first two races! His early laps are blistering and he obviously has no fear when passing. I just wish the Minardi car could get some TV coverage so we can see him passing all those cars! It would probably be the best action of the race!

He will definetly be in the points if he can just finish.

My dear English guys, value!=nationalism. To a Romanian Wilson is second best, but he didn't shine by any means.

Well, I would like to see even Michael Schumacher make starts like that in a Minardi!

He's as much a rookie as Mark Webber!

One full season for Minardi, and one full season testing the Renault equates to two full years driving F1 cars before 2003.

It's too early, but I'd just give the nod to CDM, from Wilson, from Firman, from Pizzonia.

I think Antonio does have some potential, and believe he will improve. Could it be that Webber's strong performances in the Jag have clouded our opinions of AP?

Sorry to disappoint clean tone, but I'm not English, I'm all-American, and I still think Wilson is the man!

But if its possible for a yank to be nationalistic towards another country, then I will be for England!

Thanks, Jellybabe.

Yup, my question wasn't 'who is rookie of the year'. I will keep this question until the end of this season.

Wilson. That's for sure!He did pretty well in a car that isn't fast at all.I'll bet that he'll be able to score some points this season.

Funny you guys bring up Alonso, I seem to remember him in a Minardi outqualifying a certain J.Villeneuve, and I am not talking about the snowmobiler. I am sure someone will come up with an excuse that the 01 Minardi was by far superior to the 03 version.
