Regarding the previous comments regarding 'dwindling numbers of marshals' and Rod's comments about long days. We marshals get paid nothing, not even expenses. Living just outside of Peterborough, my normal day at Donington starts by leaving the house at 5.30am, standing outside all day usually with no shelter, probably getting NO lunchbreak, or at the rare best 30 minutes, and finishing when the meeting's done. On an icy cold day, with rain, knowing the curfew is (I believe) 8pm, followed by grabbing a burger and warming up at the services, I get home around 10pm, feeling totally shattered. At least at Mallory etc you know you're going to be done at a reasonable time. This is what puts a lot of people off marshalling at Donington.
