I'm with GTR on this one. I voted yes for the record. Only heard it a couple of times through the net & thought it quite entertaining. Didnt answer my e-mail though! They seem to ask questions, but you don't seem to get an answer.

1. Nokias (and i suppose other brands) have an ORGANISER functions -there you can put a message to yourself A N D you can go to OPTIONS and have that message repeat every week at 5.55pm(change your message to yourself at daylight savings time) I USE THIS FEATURE HEAPS..to pay credit cards on time, TV shows AND it is on repeat WEEKLY for the PANELBEATERS SHOW.

For those that cant listen live such as our "baby bather" its easy to have a permanent way of hearing it

Purchase a small tape recorder such as the SONY TCM-150 and a TDK AD120 tape-1 hour each side and hook it with a simple connection (from Dick Smith) to the sound outlet of the computer. Turn it over at 7pm ...easy as!

Listen when it suits! saves you having to sit in front of the computer for 2 hours.

I have listened to it a couple of times. I normally work late on Friday nights, hell I work late every night, what 40 hour week?

I wish Bne and Sydney stations would pick the show up, because i listen to it throught the net at work and it constantly drops out. None of my questions have been aired either.

What's "SEN"? And do you have a URL? I've not heard of this show before seeing GTR's poll.

Show's good I think. Time its on isn't great though although I just tape it, burn it to a DVD+RW and then watch it sometime over the weekend on my TV when I have more time.

Much more comfortable also

Sorry Codger, I should have explained better, you can watch it over the internet live, so you actually see them as well as hear them.

Last week they had a question about the SBR Konica car which GTR sent in the answer for but was not read out - they answered the question this week and acknowledged GTR's answer of last week.

Grimace it was a J-O-K-E, I've had it in my phone for MONTHS but due to work commitments, and no FM broadcast in Sydney I missed it...... safe to say my computer will be configured to record the entire show to MP3 next week, and every week from now on. Depending on work pressures, I can't get home by 6 on a Friday.

Datto you have gotta organise yourself better

Get one of those portable baths into the 'puter room(and towels and powder and clothes) and you wash your little daughter whilst watching the show!
PSDont throw daughter out with the bath water

The Panelbeaters streaming and Big Pond Streaming are awesome sources of all the latest V8 news- not to be missed

Brad Jones read out on the screen that one of the emails was from GTRmagic..

I see Cromley in my suburb every so often having a coffee (or last time in the Post Office) so he knows me when i ring into the show,

but the show is getting overwhelmed with emails and phone calls for the short 2 hours it runs

OK OK i didnt see the joke

Its really will be better when the show can be burned for VIDEO AND AUDIO as it is fun to watch, guests coming and going, Rust doing Adrian Fernadez impersonations etc!

I can't seem to get "live streaming media" working on the Windows 1983 system that I am running here, but can someone send me some of the show via e-mail as a MP3 file or something????

If it has Cromley and Bradley on it, then you know it has to be fantastic

Feedback on the PanelBeaters

OK I will not beat around the bush. I for my sins work for BigPond on the V8 Supercars. I know I know lucky me or unlucky me depending on your views about the V8s or BigPond.

What some of you recognise the above text!! Yes I am copied it from another forum. Forgive me. Please ;-) Now please read on.

What do I want? We have for the last 5 weeks been pushing out a radio and video feed of Neil Cromptons radio show, the PanelBeaters, every friday night. And I am just trying to find out peoples responses about it.

IE is it good?
Is the time right?
Is it long enough?
Should it be replayed?
Do you enjoy the chat component?
etc etc

the url is http://www.v8supercar.com.au/panelbeaters please note the url does not get linked on the website until the the friday of the show.

What has been surprising is the diversity of the listeners round the world from NZ, Brazil, China to the UK. Personally I think it is great the V8s has such a reach and perhaps even more amazing is that Neil Crompton has such a reach.

The reason so many people can view or listen is that the show IS NOT restricted to BigPond users. It is for all to view.

I look forward to your replies, comments or views.

By the way if you have any questions for the radio team on any motorsport topic then you can e-mail them on panelbeaters@sen.com.au
