OK, so the Pescarolo, Courage, NASAMAX and Lister will be faster. But do remember they were already well behind in terms of lap time at Le Mans. The only car to rival and better the Audi in terms of overall pace in the LMES and Le Mans has been the Zytek. And I still reiterate, that the light weight protos will always struggle. Especially in a 24 Hour race. Look at Creation's reliability record this year. Not very sparkling.

If the rumoured manufacturer built and campaigned LMP1 does show up for 05', it ought to have the pace over everybody. If it doesn't, well opportunity knocked, and nobody answered the door.
This is THE golden opportunity for someone to have built a pure LMP1 machine and be in the drivers seat for LM. |

To me, this is one of the best looking paint schemes on any of the Audi R8s built. The best being Champion's "Stars and Stripes" and then the Gulf's "Blue and Orange"!!!
