Once final numbers of marshals are known, a shift system should be set up.

If the same theory is being used as last year, you'll be allocated a post on Saturday morning and shift system will be worked for each post individually.

Hi All,
That is correct. This gives you all a chance to do the hours you want rather than us dictating what you do. We trust you all on each post to organise yourselves.
We will do a briefing on Friday and Saturday mornings to clarify this.
Any questions, plese email me home@julian-floyd.com
If anyone else is available, please let me know.

Julian

From EERC website...

"The Marshals pack this year:
5 Individual Food vouchers
Fri/pm .. sat /b-fast..sat/pm..sun/b-fast..
Large tee shirts
Hats
Pens
2005 24hr DVD
Key ring
Posters
Program
A drink friday PM 10- 12

Gazeebos on post for weather protection.

Bring a friend...marshals wanted by eerc to man petrol station
be in the thick of it"

I'm biased because I enjoy the EERC meetings, but James & the team are making sure we are looked after, please help out at this meeting if you can

we get all that?

oh yes, I'm getting even more worried about lack of passes at the moment, because I'm not around for next week - who should I contact about this?

I am not sure when passes will go out but dont worry too much. If nothing arrives in time, email me and I will get some left on the gate.
If you email me you address details, I will confirm that your details are correct on the system.

The same goes for anyone else who has not received tickets before they need to leave home for this one. Whatever it takes, I will make sure that you can get into the circuit.

Julian

Just as the security people on the main gate, they will point you in the correct direction.

Campsite in usual place according to final instructions posted on EERC website, also has a good map showing location and shows entry lists for support races as well.

i really cant wait for this, this will be my first 24 hr race, seeing how i get through this before i decide if i am going to le-mans next year. unfortunatly though i was hoping to get off work early on the thursday and drive staight down aiming for a 12pm-1am arrival but it looks if i will now miss some of friday and if iam allowed just have to sign on for night practice! i know everyone who is going is going to be up for a laugh but if fazza reads this if you can pm me your mobile and try and save some space for my tent next to your camper it would be appreaciated. oulton crew on tour again!

If you are planing to arrive after sign-on has finished, you can sign-on in race control. It would be appreciated if you could let us know in advance so we are aware of who to expect and when.

Hi,
I hope all goes well with you wife.
I am not sure if passes have been posted yet but if they dont make it in time (this goes for everyone) and you cant get in, either phone me from the gate or ask security to contact race control. If anyone needs my mobile number, email me.
Regards,
Julian
