Now know from report in Autosprint of the 1977 Vallelunga F2 race that Lapeyre's car was MK19-002

Any chance that MK16-001 became MK19-001 and that MK19-002 became MK22-02?

MK22-001 is used by Arnoux at Hockenheim 17 April 77, and is a special longwheelbase car used as the team spare. (Also raced by Arnoux at Enna and Pironi at Estoril.) MK19-002 is at some of those races, so no it's not the same, but it is updated to 22 spec during 1977. I have 22-002 observed with Arnoux at Estoril but I think it's a typo as it conflicts with observations at Thruxton and Vallelunga.
22-001 works spare 22-002 ? 22-003 Arnoux regular car 22-004 Pironi regular car 22-005 Martini However, I don't think that MK19-002 became 22-002 as it is still running 19-002 plate after all the other cars are built MK16-001 and MK19-001 appear together at Thruxton 1976, so no chance of overlap. 16-001 carried as Martini spare for early season 76 Chris |

Martini also delivered bare chassis plus pieces to tuners/builders like R.O.C.
