Boardley car apparently still with damage, no Kwik Fit or Goodyear branding... HARD off to a flying start!

Wow, that PMR livery is an absolute shocker. I think this may be the worst looking grid I've ever seen. Only a few cars look any good. I know it's not that important in the grand scheme of things but surely there has to be some kind of minimum standard for how a car looks. I've seen more professional looking short oval grids than that.

How would you define that when looks are such a subjective matter?

That's a bit harsh. You're so critical of drivers.

Liveries are easy when you have one sponsor paying for 90% of it. BTCC teams don't have that luxury so finding something that blends multiple fonts, colours etc into something that pleases everyone is an impossible task.

PMR still listed as a manufacturer on the live timing. Mind you, these days it's a Constructor championship, so I don't suppose it matters whether they have Vauxhall's support or not. Notable that it's not a facelifted Astra...

Pretty sure the Porsche championship has something in operation when it comes to livery. That certainly works as the Porsches have always been the best turned out cars on the Toca package.

The entry fee for Manufacturers/Constructors Championship is an additional ÂŁ9,500 plus vat. Vauxhall (or a subsidiary/representative of) may be funding the entry fee(s) alone to be officially manufacturer-backed.

Hiring Neate should be proof enough

I thought some of last year's liveries had room for improvement, this year, no comment.

I quite like the Dynamics livery. Better than last years. I think the most professional looking livery by far is that of the WSR BMW's. Quite a few of the other cars are approaching "stickerbomb" territory.

'Damage' looks to be the livery missing from the quarter panel, no biggy in the grand scheme of things. Won't affect his lap times anyway and he's not the only one here not running a finished livery

As expected, Webster is quick

Neate over 4 seconds off the pace after 22 laps. I'd be worried if I was him

It's an improvement, still think the 3 Series looked better in white.

They said in a press release when they announced jackson that they had increased backing from vauxhall this year. Wondering what exactly has gone on there because the car looks awful and the massive blank spaces on it arent encouraging. Also the lack of any testing suggests theres issues somewhere

This might be a silly question, but do we have an official entry list yet? Normally it would be issued the previous evening or first thing in the morning.

Is that the same Vauxhall that will probably cease to exist by the end of the year? PSA Group currently closing down and selling off the bits they don't want, HQ at Luton already gone, factories in UK closing imminently. Don't think motorsport is high on their agenda right now.

Aye, JP got his sponsor back. They were tied in at BMR on a multi year deal JP put together.

Tim Harvey related cock ups to come with Flux and Fuchs...

That's good. For the second from last guy anyway - Neate too far back to hit you up the backside under braking.

So it's only the scenery and marshals that need to be wary of the cockwomble.
