pass around and drop back - another 3-4 laps of sc

Is the SC so long due to lack of intermediate tyres or just overly cautios?

Umm, don't start pulling on that. You know the race where driving standards are a joke and they finally ran an uninterrupted race this year after a long run. No one has a perfect system

TBH I do not get lack of intermediate tyres - in majority of cases cars would run on intermediate tires - and in changing circumstaces having them most definately be a safety factor right?

I get it they want to be more sustainable, but surely they can achieve this through means that do not compromise safety

Using only one SC car on that long a track might be dangerous. But with three, cant imagine the delays.
