I believe Lapierre hasn't been a traffic hero over the past year (also evident from Toyota onboard shots)

audi's highest speed so far inthe race is 320 km/h. and still they did a 3:23. that sounds pretty good, in the test day they hit 329 km/h.

Last year top speed were higher. I image 320km/h instead of 330 and more is the price to pay for the double plates on rear wing and a conservative strategy speaking about toyota.

#8 has been holding steady at about 5 seconds behind the 2 and 3.

They might have dialed in a little more downforce thinking it will rain, as well.

They said was an engine misfire. Lapierre switched to the second ignition. Seems to have fixed things for the moment.

Andre a 22 second lead after 21 laps. And about 8 of them were under the Safety Car.

no surprise, duval ran in 3.22.3 in a trafficless lap, true; but with also almost full tank and tyres surely not in optimum temp.
We can expect a 3.21 maybe during the night or in the early tomorrow morning if there will be the right circumstances.
