P&M have 1 car left, #08, the car that ran as the black car last year. Chassis #01, which was run by Phoenix Carsport and owned by Hezemans (I think) might still be available.

So it seems that AF Corse will fill the spot left by JMW with 2 or possibly 3 430s in the LMS. It also does not sound to positive for their FIA program. Here

I agree that it doesn't seems very probable to see them running a car in Le Mans an a different one in LMS, but the fact is that for now, only Le Mans is confirmed. |

I don't remember the Risi car being involved in any incidents this past year while Jamie was driving. One or two while Pierre was driving though.

he more then makes up for those few crashes he had, by always being the fastest driver on track, although i will never forgive him for crashing it at le mans in 2007 even though it wasn't his fault

With CRS and AF Corse switching to LMS, can you guys see the FIA GT2's lack of entrants and possible cancellation? GT Open could very well be the sprint championship, and they would only need to keep the Spa 24 as a stand-alone event...

I think a possible reason for this is the implementation of GT3esque rules for the GT2 championship? A couple of years ago, GT1 was decleared dead and everyone was screaming for a single GT-class, meaning GT2. With new cars being build as a result. Now Ratel has decided that an expensive GT1-class is again the way to go and that GT2 is to be degraded to a semi-sprint, pro-amateur European Championship. I can see most other GT2 teams switching to other championships to, which can only be good for LMS or GT-Open grids. On the other hand, the Spa 24 hours are looking promising, even without GT1! |
