Nice move from Buemi. I'm not sure he does need a stop, either way it's been a great recovery drive.

Sebring and RA stinks this is awesome. And the teams think the same. And the esses are great, and the facilities are great. Forget the nostalgia and your hillbillieness.

Let's ignore Pandemonium's posts... Still, Audi dominating at Austin at the last few minutes isn't surprising!

I enjoyed that, it's great to have the WEC back.

The weather robbed us of an even better race at the front though - after 90 minutes, the top 6 were covered by a minute, all on different strategies. All six of them were still in with a shout for the win.

False advertising? That's actually a rather serious accusation.

A radio show getting people to tune in by claiming to have an exclusive story is nothing unique to MWM.

Boy, did finishing under the lights really give this race an 'event' feel.

Gutted for Porsche.

Ok race I guess, was great up until the red flag shenanigans.what a nice race to ruin the race, almost on par with the near incompetence levels at daytona.atleast there they had the capacity to take time to figure out and attempt to properly set the field.

Oh well Audi wins, nothing to see here move along........at least I got to watch some sort of sports cars today

And I agree the night racing gave this race a better feel to it.

Congrats to Audi for a 1-2 finish! At this point, they'll steamroll through the end of the WEC season...

Too bad for Porsche as they're poised to win this race at CotA... and so was Toyota.

You expect Lapierre to bin it in a freak rain storm in every race from here on?

Funny thing is that the #8 would have probably won every race this season if not for Lapierre putting it into the scenery. If not for the 8 laps lost at LM and the one lap lost here, it would have been a probable white wash for that car. Has no one told Nico to be more cautious on slicks in wet conditions?

Porsches still cannot match the long distance pace of Audi and Toyota, but it's a good qualifier. Is it because vibration still annoys drivers in rac-distance stints?

I noticed one of the Rebellion drivers left the podium before the champagne started to spray, was it Heidfeld or Prost? Was surprised not to hear about those two considering their little incident last week.

Tough race! Kinda handed to Audi with their lap lead. The #8 was the car to beat, but that surprise monsoon ruined their chances. The #7 was nowhere after that, imo they need Nakajima. The camera hardly followed the other car classes, kinda difficult to follow. Championship swung in Audis favor, but Toyota can change that. Hopefully Porsche gets their high downforce package working better. Now onto Fuji!

Really dislike these cars running on Grade 1 tracks...yeah they're safe but it just doesn't have the same feel.
