The crash I am thinking of was at least 10+ years ago, went off to drivers right across the grass and caught under the car on an embankment you couldn't really see and flipped end over end. Sorry my memory isn't as young as it used to be.

2 LMPCs leading the leading P2; must be BoP.
C'mon 'tonio. Bring home the #3! |

That's more than just fuel surely? I can't see why they couldn't splash & dash it if it was just dry.

Engine temperature problem, as reported from the pits. Jeroen couldn't see a thing through the windscreen.

Happy to see Falken and Risi score well. Gutted for the 33, what a tough way to finish. AEX is the class of the prototypes. Another good run by the 52 in PC.

How cruel for Viper in GTD. 10 wins for Alex Job! That's crazy.
Vette with another GT win! There's things burning in the infield! Wish I was there for it, but tomorrow, I'll be glad I am not. |

Race thoughts:
1. Some questionable calling for Full course yellows in the first 5 hours. Felt more like TUSC in 2014. I think they got lucky with such clean running in the last 7. This was a good proper endurance race no doubt. The best NAEC race in TUSC so far for sure! Also the first with no FCY in the last hour. Coincidence. Nope. I hope Beau looks back at his decisions from 11 am to 4 pm though. I think a couple of those yellows was not needed. 2. Action Express victory is very very impressive. Their car looks great too. Best livery in prototype too (along with their team car) I expect big things from them for the rest of the year too. 3. Wow I am gutted for the Porsche NA team. First the Daytona collision and now their cars falling apart in the last hour of Sebring. They need a break hopefully in the shorter races they will get some wins along with Falken. 4. The #3 Corvette is so good and consistent. I hope they can pull it out at Le Mans this year. Its been a couple years since they won that. 5. Next race Long Beach with just P and GTLM. A format I like a lot even though numbers are down this year. In many ways we can look at Long Beach as the IMSA all star race. The entries I bet for P it will be: 5, 10, 31, 90, 01, 07, 70, and 60. For GTLM 3, 4, 17, 91, 92, 62, 24, 25. Total of 16 hours. The only question is the Delta Wing. My money is they don't go. That is a race that would be awesome to see rain. I understand the reasons but I'm bummed that Laguna got combined. 6. The Corvette DP's are awesome looking, fast, and reliable race cars. Stop dissing them people. This car rules US sportscar racing and I think its great. By the way I'm not a DP fanboy. The Rileys and the square gen 1 and 2's are hideous. I just like the Corvette body type and nothing more. |

Well I do think with the current bop, Shank's P2 car will be a threat on many of sprint races.
Not to sure about Long beach, being so tight, but at places like Laguna Seca, COTA, and Mosport. |

It was a long race. Got boring pretty quick but GTE is always entertaining for what it is. Still not a fan of the way the series runs.
