On JOTA, looks like they have a small pace advantage over the Ferrari, certainly in this stint where they are averaging 0.243s a lap quicker.

Ye has been absolutely ragging it. Fuoco was challenging him for position and Ye turned the wick up and drove off. The gap to the 51 was 15 seconds at on point. The 51 was instructed to speed up, as the 38 was coming, but the gap has continued to drop.

While it's sad that Caddy was already out of contention before Westbrook even got installed in the car, honestly that was a big mistake from Bamber and a well deserved penatly. Jota looking good on pace, might be interesting fight for 3rd between them and the Ferraris.
And by the way, Kubica will participate in "rookies test" (technically he's a hypercar rookie ) driving a Jota. So I think the deal was already made or will be soon. Is there any better live timing that official from WEC that works bad? |

Anyone doubting Pierson's move to gold next year has just seen why it's the right call; he's just sailed up to the back of Galael (who should also be gold) but is clearly not in the same bracket.
If not for their own errors, #23 would be giving #41 a hard time for the overall title. |
