Hard to understand where BMW's race went wrong so far. The car is quick. and from what I recall last year, it was quite kind to the tires too.

Maybe BMW are getting all the double stints out of the way?

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm rather enjoying this race. It's been a brutal pace. Watching even the P1 privateers thunder on has been fun.

We (collectively) really have been spoiled by the ferocious development of the factory LMP1s. If you told anyone five years ago that a privateer LMP1 of 3:25 would be alarmingly slow I don't think anyone would believe you.

Excellent work from Vanthoor/Porsche - the #92 makes up a lap of fuel trailing the leading #62 and #63, then the pit crew jump the Ferrari in the stops.
