Anyone got a link to where I can see all 2020 tickets have been rendered null and void?

I confess I don't have one - nor have I actually seen one. But it's still my understanding that all tickets for the 2020 race that were issued are now invalid, which is why the ACO is beginning to talk about opening ticketing for this year's race. If all of the issued tickets remained valid, they would be massively oversubscribed for the spectator numbers they are expecting to be allowed to have. Others who had bought and received tickets may well be able to tell us their understanding.

10000 spectators allowed in the GP circuit for N24. Not sure that's worth the bother. But a step in the right direction.

Don't forget, France is currently amber so 10 days quarantine for returning brits. Anyone who is working is unlikely to want to travel. Not sure if the UK isn't on France's red list too.

I believe France are on the verge of putting the UK in a 'special' category all of it's own with rules slightly less severe than those imposed on their red list countries. It's all a game of 'watch this space' isn't it.

Indeed it is, but if you are an employee and France remains yellow, it will probably mean you can't go.

I have received a email from Club ACO.
On June 10th, they will tell us when the ticket office will open for the 24 Hours race week. If you cannot make it in August, they give a link toward the procedure for the refund : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...cFi6w/viewform |

Thanks for info Pascal. I didn't yet receive that one.
I think everyone who has an existing credit notice will be entitled to a refund after May 31 anyway - as per their correspondence in August last year. I did wonder whether they would be able to do an automatic refund to people's accounts - so I guess this is the process. So by this method the ACO effectively wipes the slate clean ahead of 2021 bookings. As most likely they have more people or tickets requiring refunds than can attend the race. |

i have had nothing yet but suspect it is on the way, today France has decided that the uk is now on their bad boy list again, strange as the covid numbers even the french are sometimes publishing indicate deaths and rates of positive tests are considerably higher there than in the uk, politics? surely not.

Yes a lot can happen in very short time particularly in france, as a load of royals will tell you, one minute they were living a nice life in charge, then suddenly they were waiting for a meeting with madame guillotine. Mr Macron should beware, the french peasants are revolting
only joking by the way i actually like most French people |

Yes, and only "essential travel" allowed. The French government has yet not defined what essential reasons will apply to the UK, but the lists established for other non-EU countries allow travel only for essential health, family or professional reasons. They do not include travel for leisure.

I have read that this quarantine decision (not taken yet) is linked to the Indian variant.

I don't blame them but I hope they realise that the "Indian variant" is already in Germany and France etc.

Indeed, silly really. But, in that cause of keeping our French friends safe, I am happy to forego travelling in and around France this year.
