I assume IMG will produce it inhouse.

I think that beside tanner foust we also see Brain Deegan in Lydden!
Maybe the whole OMSE team with also Heikinen as a test before leaving to Brazil......

The sign is there so hope i have it right

Despite the fact I think he's a massive cock would be interested to see Deegan run in Europe, he looks to be seriously quick in his Fiesta in the US: would like to see how he stacks up against the European drivers.

Rather Deegan than the other even bigger fall us that's been driving Citroens in the last few years, deegan gets my respect for being a GOD on a motocross bike, as that makes rallycross look like what it is, armchair Motorsport for fat booked!

Do you follow the LOORS series at all? Deegan races in that and is pretty handy in a truck too! He is obviously talented rider and he seems a talented driver as well; he just comes across like a total ass whenever I see him interviewed!

Back on topic, having the whole OMSE team roll up to Lydden would certainly bulk out the entry list for the Supercars.

As mentioned before though, not really seen that much build up with regards to the S1600 and Touring Car classes. Any idea what sort of numbers these classes will be seeing?...

No news on the official website, surely if OMSE were entering a full team then they would report this unless they are only interested in the "full time" drivers. As for the other classes forget it they have made it pretty clear already that thet are little more than extras to the main event.

The deadline for entries was last Friday and according to those in the know its a fantastic entry but are not allowed to announce it yet. Personally I would say if it is so good release the entry quickly then they may sell a few more advanced tickets. I refuse to buy a weekend ticket before I know how much there will be to see and they are only advertising individual day tickets on the gate, that means £45 plus camping. Ouch!

I've been told that the numbers are this today:

15 supercars
12 S1600
8 touringcars

needs to double up in a few hours as entry is closed 2 weeks before the race.

Blimey thought there would be a few more than that in the S1600 and especially in the touring cars.
Anyone know roughly how many entrants there were in each class for the first round last year.

Thats the number of permanent drivers for the Championship, or thats the number signed up for Lydden?

The actual number of entries.

The entry should have been closed friday, but has been extended till today.

Some people are having really bad headaches...

First round always suffers from low entrys, plus all the changes people rightly are unsure no doubt. Personally Im more Interested in the Entrys for the Challenge round.

The actual number for Lydden? Ouch. Thats not so good. Mind you, didn't they say they had 15 permanent Supercars drivers a few weeks back?...

http://www.rallycrossrx.com/article/...iver-field-for

...plus Foust is suppose to be there, and I'm sure some UK drivers (thinking Doran and Godfrey) will be racing, so surely that number should be 16+, shouldn't it? Or have they lost some permanent drivers?...

Going to be interesting to see what sort of numbers the series pulls in. I saw a Coach2 sign on Procters truck at Lydden advertising possible Coach tours to the Maasmechelen and Valkenswaard Challenge rounds: will be keeping an eye out for that as I wouldn't mind a trip to Europe!

My mate signed up for this also! We were regular Rallycross Trust trip regulars so if this works for Coach2 could be a worthy weekend trip.

On this basis the 2013 entry is about 50% of last year in all categories...NOT GOOD AT ALL!!

I'd imagine that the numbers will go up, no one enters before the two weeks deadline. For eg, there's Leppihelme who has a seat in the SuperCar focus that needs to be added to the lists, and Foust and Deegan. I think SuperCar category will be comparable to last season's, but I do really worry about the other two.

Reported elsewhere that Henning Solberg is now taking part at Lydden in the IMG Championship with Eklund SAAB? possible further ventures also!

I recall this quote a while back

Henning Solberg: "In 2013 there will be Rallying or nothing. I'm not going to compete in Rallycross. In a Rally there is more action than just racing three times a day, and for the rest of the whole weekend you stay in the paddock."

ARSE!

All the above courtesy ERC24/FB/

Tanners' press release says he will take part in 'select' rounds of the ERC in 2013. I am not sure of the clashes with the GRC but my guess is that he will take in as many as he can.

Be interesting to see if Deegan is at Lydden. There were some Fiesta's in Sweden over the winter and were due to ship from there direct to Brazil so maybe......

The rallycross preview in MN suggested that the top 3 from the British championship have got an invite to the Lydden ERC round (Godfrey confirmed he'd be there).

Is there a local support class in addition to the 3 IMG classes? Previous years have seen one of the 'native' classes run as a demo - is that happening this year?

Shirley Gibson when selling raffle ticket to raise money for Demelza Hospice, mentioned that Retro Rallycross would be at the event, but not sure if they are doing demo runs or actually racing.
