The other two cars will be piloted by the Stuck brothers Ferdinand and Johannes and Frank Kechele and Tunku Hammam Sulong, a Malaysian prince. Very high celebrity factor there, but unless Albert gets a really strong co-pilot, none of their crews will really be able to fight for the title, I'm afraid. |

At the end of last season Kox said he would drive with T&T again.
Shame no Beemers. |

Just took a look at the Sporting Rules, and it seems like GT-Masters will stick withz the success-ballast system and not switch to the time penalties introduced this year in British GT and the FIA-GT3 European Championship.

Yeah, he got close to winning the Hockenheim Sunday race last year, but Albert von Thurn und Taxis reeled him in a few laps from the end...
Callaway also announced a second pairing today: Diego Alessi and Daniel Keilwitz, IMHO these two are at least dark horses for the championship. With Peter Kox being partnered with Marc Hayek this year, I really want to know, who'll be Albert's partner - he'll need a strong one if he wants to defend his title. |

Maybe race wins on a good day, but I don't think they'll have a shot at the championship... There will be half a dozen or more all-pro line-ups this year, so it'll be really tough for pro-am teams.

Keilwitz won the GT3 European Championship last year with Christian Hohenadel in a Corvette. Alessi drove various GT3 cars in the last years (for example Ferrari in 2010, Corvette in 2009...). Both are fast drivers...

Alessi is pretty damn good, dragging the 430 GT3 to the front in a few FIA GT3 races last year

Farnbacher with a 458 GT3 for Dominik Farnbacher and Niklas Kentenich! (Pic in the Link)
A very strong contender for the title, I think! Last edited by Speed-King; 13 Apr 2011 at 23:04. |

Amazing to see the new season shaping up... so many great cars, teams and drivers and complete live TV-coverage.
This has to be the best national GT series I can think of... |
