Loving the GTE boys door handle to door handle. We'll need a big GT showing at Le Mans this year.

#37 JCDC car punts the ByKolles into the wall. Wait for a penalty for that one. ByKolles dragging itself back with half the front end missing.

What I saw - Kolles stopped on track
What I expected - Mechanical failure What I got - JCDC car punted Dillmann off. |

Just hope that the ACO don't find some way to screw it up like in '16 and last year. I know that it's OT for this thread, but what year had the GTE-Pro battle that was insanely epic throughout the whole race where most of the field was on the class lead lap and there were battles that the whole field was sometimes separated by seconds throughout much of the race? |

If Kolles got punted into the barrier, you'd almost have to expect some kind of penalty for that.

Yeah, I'm back for the time being. I didn't realize that the race started as late as it did European time.
So far, it's been a bit of a cluster, which given the off and on rain/snow/anvils/kitchen sinks that have been falling from the sky, it was to be expected. I just hope that most of the race isn't run behind the pace car each time there's precipitation. If so, then I might be wishing that was back watching what I was watching earlier. |

I went to bed with the guide telling me the start of the race was going to be on TV I wake up and the guide has changed and no WEC race is on. They still list the final hour and a half as being on TV but we will see.

Yeah, who knows, especially with Velocity/Motor Trend only showing brief excerpts of the race. Main reason why I only go out of my way to watch LM on that channel.

Not really sure either way but is there an argument to say why is Dillmann sticking the car down the outside there? Probably is a penalty but there's maybe a case of putting your car in harm's way? Especially if the goal is pure mileage.

#37 penalised for the ByKolles incident. 2 Minutes stop and go.
#38 JCDC missing a headlight, but I think it's still legal because the ORECA has that little sidelight in the top corner of the headlight. |

I'm glad we're racing again at least. Toyotas will still finish 1-2 but at least they're having to work for it
